At a glance
Luma Dream Machine was a video and image generation service from Luma AI of the US, but since March 2026 it has shifted to the Luma app (Luma Agents), where an AI agent picks models and does the work on an infinite canvas. In addition to its own video models Ray3.2/Ray3.14 and image model Uni-1, you can use outside models such as Veo, Kling, Seedance and Nano Banana in one place, so it suits creators for whom video quality and HDR post-production matter, such as advertising and VFX.
Note: In Luma's official guidance the name "Dream Machine" is gradually being dropped, and on the current sign-up screen the Luma app (Plus/Pro/Ultra) plans are the default. The old Dream Machine plans (Lite/Plus/Unlimited) remain only in the help pages and appear to be for existing subscribers.

Which plan for whom
- Free trial: People who first want to check whether Luma's canvas and agent approach suits them.
- Plus: Individual creators who make dozens of ad and social videos a month. You can compare Ray3.2 and Veo/Kling/Seedance on one subscription, which is more efficient than paying for several services separately.
- Pro: Freelancers and marketers who work daily, handing everything from storyboards to editing to the agent. Credits are 4x Plus.
- Ultra: Professionals who generate and select in bulk, such as VFX and ad production companies that use HDR/EXR.
- Team: Production teams and agencies that need to share credits and share projects.
- Enterprise: Companies and studios that need a security contract or fine-tuning on their own data.
- (Former) Dream Machine plans: If you already subscribe, you can keep them as is, but consider moving to a Luma app plan to use new models and outside models.
